Northwoods Long Lake Resort Long Lake WI Resort Northern Wisconsin
The “housekeeping” cabins are non-smoking (smoking is allowed outside) and provided with fresh bed linens, pillows and pillow cases. Each is also fully equipped with kitchen pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, toaster, and coffee maker. A stove/oven and refrigerator/freezer are provided for your cooking needs. Each cabin also has a bathroom and shower. A Weber style charcoal grill is provided at each cabin. Charcoal and lighter fluid can be purchased at the Long Lake General Store, along with any other supplies that you may need for your stay. There is also a picnic table provided so that you can enjoy the outdoors over a meal or a game of cards. Please plan to bring your own bathroom, kitchen, and beach towels and toiletry supplies, as well as any miscellaneous grocery goods. Pets are most definitely welcome at the Resort! We do ask that their owners keep an eye on them and if running loose, they are kept around their respective cabin areas as not to disturb other guests who may not appreciate the furry friends as much as their owners do. We also please ask that their "evidence" of enjoying the lawn areas are cleaned up after them - we have scoops available at the cabins for your use. For those planning to bring your furry friends, we will be adding a pet charge this year of $30 per stay (regardless of the number of pets). This charge is being applied to help cover the additional time that our cabin cleaners, Tutti and Leah, put toward making the cabin as clean as possible for you upon your arrival, and the next guests that would follow your departure. Lisa and I commit to our pet owners that this additional payment will be passed on directly to Tutti and Leah for cabins they clean that have been visited by our guest's pets.

Loon Point

Loon Point is a unique cabin at the Resort. The gradual slope to the lake front suits it well as a great gathering location to cast a line, enjoy a warm fire, or to simply “take it all in”. The sunsets of any season provide a spectacular canvas as you view the shoreline and rolling hills across the lake. Loon Point has two bedrooms each with a full size bed and has two twin size beds on the enclosed porch facing the lake. It also has a full size sleeper sofa in the living area which would allow Loon Point to sleep up to 8 people in total.

Hemlock

The Hemlock Cabin (Cabin #2) is a newly renovated cabin that has two bedrooms each with a full size bed, one of which has a pull out twin size trundle bed. It has a combined living, dining and kitchen area that contribute to a cozy northwoods cabin feel and can sleep up to 5 people. The cabin stands only 20 feet from the waters edge, and it feels as though you may be sitting over the water when sitting on the front deck facing the lake…a relaxing surrounding that is hard to match.

Spruce

The Spruce Cabin (Cabin #3) is a newly renovated cabin that has two bedrooms, each with a full size bed, and also has a pull- out sleeper love seat sofa in the living area, making it well suited to sleep up to 5 people. Spruce Cabin has the most defined lake shoreline only 20 feet from the cabin with greater lake depth at the end of the dock than any of the other cabins…it is a fisherman’s favorite for capturing those crappie and northern that await.

Red Pine

The Red Pine Cabin (Cabin #4) is a couple’s retreat. It is a smaller cabin with an open concept amongst the kitchen, living and sleeping area similar to a “studio” style space. The full size bed in an area of the cabin creates a comfortable respite for the fisherman or hiker returning from a good day in the field or where a couple can hang out to have a cup of coffee or other refreshment to relax during the day. It has a private dock and fire pit as do all the cabins, but also has an outside area that is away from the neighboring cabins providing a bit more privacy for Red Pine’s guests.

Eagles Nest

The Eagles Nest Cabin (Cabin #5) is the largest of our cabins and has also been newly renovated. It has two decks, one at the main entry of the cabin, and the other on the back of the cabin that overlooks the lake with the shoreline only about 15 feet away. The Eagles Nest Cabin has three bedrooms, the first with a full size bed, the second with two full size beds, and the third with two twin size beds making it capable of sleeping up to 8 people in total. It also has a larger separate living area with a gas fireplace, a separate kitchen, and a full bathroom.

Tamarack

The Tamarack Cabin (Cabin #6) is a recently renovated two bedroom cabin with each bedroom having a full size bed. It also has a full size sleeper sofa in the living area, which makes it well suited to sleep up to 5 people. The Tamarack has it's own deck that is literally only 10 feet from the lake shore and has a nice private yard area that looks upon the dock and lake providing some of the most striking sunsets that the Resort has to offer. It also has a more secluded yard area that allows guests staying with larger groups to “get-away” for some quiet time when desired.
